I'm Kelly Cranz, and I've been working with horses since 1975. My first horse was Chico, and he started all of this.

Today I'm a boutique trainer and horse nanny in the Austin area. I come to your barn and take care of what your horse needs: early feeds, wellness checks, meds and injections, ground training, halter breaking and lunging.

I also teach English hunter/jumper, Western riding and all-around horsemanship. I've shown in both saddles, with top 5 finishes in jumpers, trail, horsemanship and equitation, and multiple world championship finishes in all-around events.

And I'm a die-hard. If your horse needs something at 5 in the morning or 11 at night, call me.

Yes. Early feeds, late-night checks and same-day calls are all part of the job. For anything urgent, call 512-653-0080.

How do I book?

Call 512-653-0080, or send a request on the booking page with your name, your horse, what's needed, when, and where the horse is. Once you're booked, Kelly emails you the details.

Can you give meds and injections?

Yes. Oral, topical and injectable meds, plus most of the at-home vet care owners handle themselves, always following your vet's instructions.

What lessons do you teach?

English hunter/jumper, Western riding and all-around horsemanship. Call to set up a time.

How does payment work?

Payment is due when the job's done, by Zelle or card through Stripe. House and barn sitting, where Kelly is in charge of your place, takes a 50% deposit up front.

What if a horse gets sick or hurt?

You get a call right away, and your vet is next. Keep your vet's number handy, and tell Kelly who can approve care if you can't be reached.
